Whole-home or focus-area reset

Deep Cleaning Services in West Hartford & Nearby Towns

For the buildup a regular clean never reaches: dust in corners and edges, soap scum, kitchen grease, and dirt on baseboards, trim and doors. Choose the whole home, or up to three areas that need it most.

The reset

What a Deep Cleaning Removes

A deep cleaning is restorative work, not upkeep. It goes after what accumulates over months: dust packed into details, corners and edges, soap scum in the shower, grease on and around the stove, dirt along baseboards, trim and doors, and the grime that builds up on light switches, handles and other surfaces hands touch every day.

Two cleaning technicians work through the kitchen, the bathrooms and every other room, and finish with detailed edge vacuuming and washed floors. Once that baseline is set, keeping it is much easier: most of our clients move on to recurring house cleaning every two weeks, and those later visits go faster because the buildup is gone.

Book one when the home has not been professionally cleaned for a while, before family comes to stay, after a busy season, or as the first step before regular service.

Good to know

What a Deep Cleaning Does Not Cover

A deep cleaning is strictly cleaning and buildup removal: high dust is cleared within safe reach, and nothing is reorganized. Knowing the limits up front avoids surprises on the day. Any extra service has to be requested in advance, so we can schedule and price it properly.

  • Organizing or rearranging belongings
  • Inside cabinets and drawers (part of move cleaning)
  • Washing walls
  • Permanent stain removal
  • Mold remediation or biohazard cleaning
  • Exterior windows
  • Construction dust and debris (see post-construction cleaning)
  • Homes with hoarding or unsafe conditions, which we refer to specialized services

This is the one we don't rush, because it reaches everything a weekly clean never gets to.

What Customers Say About Our Deep Cleaning

4.9from 349 Google reviews

★★★★★

I wish I could give 6 stars. I just hired Family Cleaners to do a deep clean of my house. When I got home I felt like I'd walked into a luxury AirBnB. Everything was thoroughly dusted, mopped, vacuumed, wiped down, and even - in the case of towels and toilet paper rolls - neatly folded. On top of that, the owner is responsive and friendly. This is professionalism at its finest.

Family Cleaners did an outstanding deep cleaning of our home! They were on time, reasonably priced, and really helped bring the sparkle back. We will continue now with bi-weekly services. These folks helped a very busy mom get back some time back and to feel good about the cleanliness of our home! Thank you!!

We used this service for the very first time for a deep clean and I am thoroughly pleased with the job they did! Our two cleaners were pleasant, efficient and hard-working. Wonderful attention to details, especially in the kitchen and bathrooms. I would recommend them and would use them again.

FAQ

Deep Cleaning FAQ

What clients ask before booking their first deep clean. Still unsure which package fits? Call (860) 356-9448.

How long does a deep cleaning take?

A whole-home Top to Bottom Deluxe Deep Cleaning typically takes 6 to 8 hours with two cleaning technicians, and a Focus Deep Cleaning 5 to 6 hours. Both are averages: the size of the home, the level of buildup and the conditions on the day can make the job shorter or longer. If more time is needed to meet our standard, we tell you before going on.

Should I choose the whole-home package or Focus Deep Cleaning?

Choose Top to Bottom Deluxe when buildup is spread through the whole house. Choose Focus Deep Cleaning when a few spaces carry most of it, often the kitchen and one or two bathrooms: those get the deep treatment and the rest of the home gets a maintenance clean.

Is cleaning inside the oven and refrigerator included?

Not by default. Inside the oven and inside the refrigerator are add-ons you can choose when you book, along with washing blinds. The inside of the microwave is already part of a deep cleaning.

Do you clean inside kitchen cabinets and drawers?

Not during a deep cleaning, which covers cabinet fronts. Inside cabinets and drawers are cleaned during a move-in or move-out cleaning, when they are empty.

What happens after my deep cleaning?

Your home is at its cleanest baseline, and recurring maintenance is the way to keep it there. Most of our clients switch to a biweekly house cleaning after their first clean, and we recommend the frequency that suits your home.

Do you take on homes in very poor condition?

Yes, up to codes 9 and 10 of our cleaning assessment, which call for a maximum-intensity deep clean with specialized tools and products, and more time. Homes with hoarding, biohazards or unsafe conditions are respectfully declined for health and safety reasons, and we refer you to specialized services.

How is the price of a deep cleaning set?

It depends on the size of the home, the package you choose, its condition (your assessment code) and any add-ons. Quotes are free: call or text (860) 356-9448, email info@familycleanersct.com or use the form on this page.
